Your Sim will need to have a certain Skill(s) at a high enough level to qualify for a Distinguished Degree, though there is a handful for each and your Sim won't need to know them all to get in. If your Sim graduates with a Distinguished Degree in Discover University, they'll be able to get promotions more easily in their career, earn more money, and be given more vacation days than a regular degree. If your Sim has been through High School and received good grades, there's a higher chance they'll be able to take a Distinguished Degree, although it is possible to get onto a course without that. Once your Sim has been notified of their acceptance, they'll also be given a list of Degrees they qualify for based on Skills and at which school. Click on it and select "University" and then "Apply to Universities." You can't choose which Degree you want just yet or at which University, instead your Sim will be considered by both Britechester and Foxbury for all Degrees and you'll receive a letter in the mail after two days. You can find out which Skills they need in the individual Degree sections below. Semesters last for 7 days and there are four in a Degree period.īefore you enroll your Sim into a Degree, you're going to want to work on certain Skills as they won't be accepted for the one they want if they don't meet the requirements. There are also tasks outside of class like homework and exams across semesters. Once enrolled, your Sim will need to go to class several times per week, which they will do automatically unless you've disabled the "Act Freely" setting. Both Britechester University and Foxbury Institute offer all Degrees, but the Distinguished courses are only offered at a specific one. The latter is the highest, but courses require specific conditions to be met before your Sim is allowed to enroll. Modeling career uses the same items as Fashion Career to get a head start in events.There are four types of Degrees: regular, With Honors, Distinguished, and Distinguished With Honors.
